To be honest, the new battery works a lot better than I anticipated, when not gaming and just doing light work the battery would last over 7-8 hours. I haven't tested it yet but it did take 2-3 hours of heavy gaming to bring it down to 50%.

Easy to order the battery. Have been using the battery for about a week with no problem. Went through the charging-discharging process to prolong the life of the battery. It now says I should have just under 5 hours of battery life which is within the expected range. I am running an external keyboard and mouse plus I have an external SVGA monitor attached. The form factor for the battery causes it to protrude from the back; not a problem for me but if you have a case that just fits your laptop, could be an inconvenience.
