I had bought this for my old gaming laptop just to keep the power on without charging, it worked for some time and went back to the same problem... it is not worth repalcing the laptop when I have PC right now, and maybe the laptop went back to it because my mother leaves it plugged in.

The mechanical part of the install was easy. Windows did not recognize the battery at first and I had to do some programming magic to get it working. Not sure what was wrong, but it works fine now and was definitely worth the $40 to save the laptop.

Unfortunately the battery is not functional. Nothing happens at all. Installed and removed several times. Went back again. Unfortunately it took a lot of time. Now the original battery, which only runs for 20 minutes, is installed again.
